  • Where in Fairbanks, AK are you located?

    The Golden North Inn is located conveniently on the west side of Fairbanks, with easy access to Fairbanks International Airport, shopping, and dining.



  • When is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you need a late check-out, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.



  • Is your front desk staffed 24 hours?

    Yes, our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, so we’re here to assist you whenever you arrive or if you need help during your stay.



  • Do you have a shuttle service?

    Yes, we offer a shuttle service to select locations in Fairbanks such as Fairbanks International Airport, Alaska Railroad Depot, Northern Alaska Tour Company, as well as other smaller flight services in Fairbanks. 



  • How do I get a shuttle?

    To arrange a shuttle, simply call or email the front desk in advance or let us know when you check in. We’ll confirm the time and location details with you.



  • Is on-site parking available?

    Yes, we provide free on-site parking for our guests.



  • What is your cancellation policy?

    Generally, cancellations made at least 24 hours before your scheduled arrival are fully refundable. Please refer to your booking details or contact us for specific information. Group contracts may have additional restrictions.



  • Is smoking allowed?

    The Golden North Inn is a non-smoking property. We ask that guests refrain from smoking inside all rooms and public areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.



  • Are pets allowed?

    Dogs are welcome at Golden North Inn and must be supervised at all times. There is a daily pet fee, please contact us for details. Unfortunately, we do not allow any other kind of animals at the Golden North Inn, with the exception of service animals.



  • What is the minimum age for check-in?

    The minimum age for check-in is 21 years old.

  • Do the rooms have a microwave and refrigerator?

    Yes, all of our rooms are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator for your convenience.

  • Is there high speed wifi available?

    Yes, all guests have access to our complimentary high speed wifi.  

  • Is breakfast included?

    Yes, we offer a complimentary continental breakfast for all guests.  Items include fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, a large variety of breakfast bars, yogurts, hard boiled eggs and other grab-and-go items.  Fresh coffee and tea is available 24/7 in the lobby.



  • Are there rollaway beds?

    Unfortunately, we do not have any rollaway beds.
