We stayed 1 night, September 7th. Arrived at 9.30 am and got an early check-in. Warm owners who treated us like family! They were so keen to brief us and ensure we had a good time in Fairbanks as well as our onward journey to Valdez. Spacious clean rooms with all amenities in place. Car parking in front of the room. Location is close to all attractions

I stayed at the Golden North two nights and found it to be exactly what I wanted. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient to the airport and local stores, and the owners were helpful and welcoming. The price for the room was fair and included coffee and muffins in the mornings.

In my opinion, Golden North is the best! I like everything about the Golden North. The owners were very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. There isn't anything I did not like. The Golden North is my favourite place to stay.

Caring Comfort! This property isn’t the newest but it SHINES because the owners and staff are servants of their guests. You will have your own microwave and refrigerator, a couch, flat-screen and controls for your room temperature. The property is priced below its more contemporary competitors and includes a continental with fruits, pastries and coffee or tea.

Comfortable and Gracious. Excellent communications for a group of 2 as a point of departure for extended remorts hunt. The staff were gracious and willing to provide us with both room supplies and information. The room was large and comfortable - we will be back!

Comfortable Stay. We stayed in this motel for only one night as we had to travel south to Denali the next day. We had a very comfortable stay here. I wish we had stayed more nights here Room was super cosy and clean. The Owners are super friendly and sweet people. In the morning they even offered muffins, fruits, cakes and coffee.

The “Golden North Motel of Fairbanks “ in Alaska is pretty good, people are very very kind, the bedrooms are really cleans, they have many space for park the car and it’s really simple to access ! It’s perfect 👍🏻

A Quality Economical Motel

This was a great place for me to spend the night before my flight. It was clean, safe and had a friendly, helpful staff. When it comes to accommodations around 100 bucks, it can't be beat! I stayed in a few "bargain" hotels in Fairbanks and Anchorage. Read reviews before you book, there are some real dumps out there. If you pay $100 in North Carolina you can usually expect decent quality, not in AK. I highly recommend this motel, if you just need a no frills, straight forward place to spend the night.

Good Value, Friendly Hotel

We only had 2 nights here. We were picked up from the airport with a smile. This a good hotel with a very good price. Complimentary breakfast items in the reception with coffee. Its location is central to the Airport, the Riverboat discovery and Pioneer Park. We walked from downtown back thru Pioneer park to the hotel with ease. Give them your custom you won't regret it
